From the event organizer:
“The Medical College of Wisconsin invites the public to attend the Women in Science Series. Women in Science is an opportunity to meet outstanding female scientists and physicians and learn about their cutting-edge research.
This Series is an enlightening program of five presentations, in lay language, designed to draw attention to scientific research projects at MCW as well as generate support for female scientists who serve as role models and mentors.”
During this event, MCW assistant medicine professor Srividya Kidambi will “explore new data on ‘metabolically healthy obese’ and will discuss the importance of the distribution of body fat,” MCW said.
Series memberships start at $275.
