See You Tonight in San Francisco at Xconomy’s Event Event

Today’s the day I’ve been telling you about for a couple of months now: It’s your chance to catch Eventbrite co-founders Kevin Hartz, Julia Hartz, and Renaud Visage, along with Eventbrite board member (and former Ticketmaster CEO) Sean Moriarty, in conversation with yours truly at the Greenstart cleantech accelerator in downtown San Francisco.

The theme tonight will be the online-to-offline economy and how companies like Eventbrite are using the Internet to help people get things done (and have more fun) in the real world. I’ll also spend some time asking Kevin, Julia, Renaud, and Sean about the event business, and what Eventbrite has learned over the past six years about how startups can best use online tools to organize events efficiently and profitably. And as always, you can ask your own questions during the formal audience Q&A session and the informal networking reception afterward (pizza and beer and on us!).

The doors open at 5:30 pm and the program will start promptly at 6:15 pm. If you didn’t make it over to our Eventbrite registration page to buy a ticket, it’s too late—online registration has closed for the day. But don’t panic: You can still register at the door for $95 (or $40 if you work for a startup).

A shout-out to Wells Fargo’s Technology and Venture Banking Group for their support of tonight’s event. We’re also very grateful to Greenstart for hosting the event in their uber-cool space on the 11th floor at 22 Battery Street in the Financial District. (It’s a good idea to arrive early to avoid a potential bottleneck at the elevator.)
