Traackr Closes $1M Round

Traackr, a San Francisco startup whose software gives marketing and public relations professionals a way to identify and rank “influencers” on the social Web, said today that it has closed a Series A funding round totaling $1 million. Backers included Launch Capital, Tollman Capital Partners, and individual investors Robbie Vann-Adibé, Qamar Aziz, Christopher Muenchhoff, and Zev Laderman. The company, which was formerly based in Cambridge, MA, said in a statement that it will use the funds in part to expand into new markets. “Huge market opportunities are unfolding so finding investment partners to accelerate our growth is imperative to us,” said founder and CEO Pierre-Loïc Assayag.
