$20M More for MobileIron

Mountain View, CA-based mobile security company MobileIron has raised $20 million in Series D financing, according to an announcement today. The money came from existing investors, inclding Foundation Capital, Norwest Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, and Storm Ventures. The startup said the funding will be used “to drive rapid global growth, accelerate initiatives for existing and emerging mobile platforms, and meet the rapidly growing worldwide market demand for mobile device management and security.” MobileIron said it has seen “explosive growth,” fueled in part by $16 million Series C Round last July.
