$7M for ThredUp

ThredUp, the San Francisco-based startup with an online platform where parents can swap kids’ toys, clothes, and books, said today that it has raised $7 million in new venture funding. Redpoint Ventures led the round, and Redpoint partner Tim Haley will join the company’s board. Trinity Ventures and former eBay CEO Brian Swette also participated in the round, which brings ThredUp’s total funding to $8.7 million.
