Jawbone Gets $49M

Venture firm Andreessen Horowitz has invested $49 million in Jawbone, the San Francisco-based maker of noise-canceling Bluetooth mobile headsets and other audio technology, according to a report that first appeared in All Things D. Andreessen Horowitz partner Ben Horowitz has joined Jawbone’s board. The company, formerly known as Aliph, was founded in 1999 and has raised nearly $100 million in venture funding all told.
