Seesmic Shakes Loose $4M

Seesmic, the San Francisco-based maker of desktop and mobile software that helps users publish and browse social media updates on Twitter and other services, has raised $4 milion in new financing, according to an announcement Tuesday. The company said the funds came from new investors and Softbank Group as well as existing investors Atomico, Omidyar Network, and Wellington Partners. Seesmic has raised $16 million all told.
