Marketo Pulls In $25M

Marketo, a San Mateo, CA-based maker of software that helps companies automate the management of e-mail marketing campaigns and other forms of lead generation, said this week it has raised $25 million in Series D funding. Institutional Venture Partners led the round, which was joined by existing investors InterWest Partners, Storm Ventures, and Mayfield Fund. The round comes close on the heels of a $10 million Series C funding in April 2010.
