SI-Bone Raises $11M

SI-Bone, a San Jose-based developer of plasma-coated titanium implants that immobilize the sacroiliac joints in patients with degenerative bone diseases of the pelvis, said today that it has raised $11 million in a venture financing round led by Skyline Ventures of Palo Alto, CA. The company said the funds will help it to launch new prospective and retrospective studies of the implants’ efficacy, as well as ramp up sales and marketing operations.
