Mad Catz Gets V Max Assets

Mad Catz Interactive (AMEX: MCZ), a San Diego maker of video game accessories and related equipment, says it purchased flight simulation software and related assets from privately owned V Max Simulation. The deal is valued at a total of $638,000 in cash and shares of Mad Catz stock, which does not include a commission to V Max president David Kinney that’s equal to 5 percent of a certain part of the fighter simulation business over a four-year period.
