Skinit Raises $60M
Skinit, a San Diego company that sells branded vinyl skins for cell phones, game consoles, laptops, and other personal electronic devices, has raised $60 million from ABS Capital Partners and Norwest Equity Partners, according to PE Hub. Using its licensing agreements with Disney and other entertainment brands, Major League Soccer and other sports leagues, The Rolling Stones and other music groups, Skinit sells product “skins” direct-to-consumers and through partnerships with consumer electronics product manufacturers.
