EngEx 2010 Conference Cancelled

EngEx 2010, a cleantech conference that intended to draw 10,000 attendees to the San Diego Convention Center next week, has been cancelled, according to Steve Johnson, the convention center’s vice president of public affairs. The conference, which had included a presentation on thousands of electric vehicle charging stations to be installed throughout San Diego this year, failed to make a required payment earlier this week, Johnson says. A notice on the organizer’s website says, “Due to lack of attendance, EngEx 2010 has been postponed until further notice.” The conference and exhibition had been scheduled from July 29 to 31.
