Extension Entertainment Raises Funding for MP3 Browser Tech

New York-based Extension Entertainment raised $750,000 in an equity-based funding round, according to an SEC filing. The company developed an extension for the Chrome browser that allows music lovers to organize, stream, and share MP3 files from any website as they’re browsing the Internet. Extension Entertainment previously raised a $500,000 seed round in 2010 from Betaworks, Founder Collective, Spark Capital, and Dave Morgan.
