2 Thermo Fisher Way Oakwood Village, OH 44146 - Company Description
The patent pending Renaissance race System 1000 combines two proven technologies: magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and gamma ray radiotherapy. Conversely, today’s competing image-guided radiotherapy systems are based on linear accelerators which require CT or X-Ray scanners to capture patient images—linacs cannot work with MRI because of technical incompatibilities between the two devices. Only the Renaissance System 1000, combining MRI and gamma ray radiotherapy, promises to provide real-time beam-on imaging and targeting of the tumor. - Website
