We’ve got two big announcements for our annual Xconomy Healthcare Summit, which is coming up on November 18 here in the Boston area.
The first is that incoming Cubist Pharmaceuticals CEO Rob Perez has joined the lineup. I will be doing a keynote chat with him to discuss his views on Cubist, infectious diseases, and more.
The second is that the agenda for the summit has been posted. You can view the whole lineup for this special event here.
When we say special, we mean special. For starters, this is an invitation-only event, and we are limiting it to approximately 80 attendees. If you are a healthcare executive, entrepreneur, investor, or leading technologist, we’d love to hear from you. Just drop a line telling us a bit about yourself at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’ve also chosen a special venue. The second annual Xconomy Healthcare Summit will take place on Tuesday, November 18, at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln, MA. We’ve blocked out the entire museum for the day, and attendees will have a chance to take a private tour of the spectacular building and grounds.
Finally, we have a star-studded lineup. Besides Perez, who officially takes the reins of Cubist on January 1, we are featuring keynote talks and chats with genomics and personalized medicine pioneer George Church and computing guru Stephen Wolfram. We also have unique sessions on gene editing and gene therapy, as well as looks at data and analytics in healthcare, and new models for insurance and patient care.
It’s all topped off by a wearables discussion and demo—aka fashion show—that should be a fun way to move into the drinks part of the day. In short, it is a rare look at the entire healthcare continuum—from drug discovery to patients, hospitals, insurance, and the consumer market.
As mentioned, we only have space for a limited number of attendees at this exclusive event. General registration is $795 (you can apply for a discount if you’re from a government organization, non-profit, or startup), and includes breakfast, lunch, and a reception after the event. Again, to request your invitation, please write us at email@example.com.
