Xconomy Boston Is On The (Very Short) Move

Posting will be light from Xconomy Boston today, as we’re busy hauling our stuff three blocks down Rogers Street to our new headquarters at 101 Rogers Street. That’s right, we’re moving form 10 Rogers St., Suite 101, to 101 Rogers St., Suite 402—let the confusion begin!

I can’t tell you how lucky we feel, particularly in this economic climate, to be outgrowing our first office and expanding not only our physical space but our reach online and via our events. Thanks to all of you for reading, commenting, sending us tips, and participating in our forums and other events. It’s been extremely gratifying to be welcomed into such a vibrant, fascinating innovation community as this one, and to feel like we’re doing our part to strengthen that community. Thanks also to our underwriters and sponsors, particularly Alexandria Real Estate Equities, which in addition to supporting us from day one will be our new landlord down in our (completely awesome) new space down the street.

And a special shout out to our friends and neighbors at 10 Rogers, aka River Court. As much as we’re looking forward to a conference room that comfortably seats more than four people and not having to all share one bathroom, we’ll miss seeing you guys every day. (Wade would like you to know he’ll also miss his nitrous oxide outlet and the little dentist’s hand-wash sink in his exceptionally quirky current office.) To our new neighbors (we’re talking to you, Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals and Learning Games Network), come on up to the fourth floor and say hi. I’m not promising we’ll have beer up here, but it’s a distinct possibility…

  1. I’m back in town and was just about to join the move, when I saw this uncalled for picture making fun of MY office. I may be over there, and I may go to lunch!

Can’t wait to see the space, congrats!
