Program (final details in development)

At its heart, biotech is about people willing to take risks. People who believe in ideas that might fail, yet pursue them anyway. People who join and lead startups that could go nowhere, because of the slim chance they could save lives and change how medicine is practiced. The stories that emerge from these people—the founders, the investors, the executives—go far beyond the specific industry or sector they work in. They teach us about life, persistence, and dealing with adversity. What motivates them to do what they do? How have they handled the ups and downs in science and business? What lessons do they have for those aiming to follow in their footsteps?
