Sonya F. Erickson is a partner in Cooley Godward Kronish's Emerging Companies and Life Sciences practice groups and a member of the firm's business department. Ms. Erickson's practice encompasses the representation of emerging growth companies, established technology businesses and venture capital funds. Ms. Erickson has represented numerous clients from incorporation through private financing transactions, technology-based strategic partnerships, initial public offerings, mergers and beyond. She regularly advises boards of directors with respect to the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and the development and implementation of best practices in corporate governance. Representative clients of Ms. Erickson include Seattle Genetics, Celebrate Express, Varolii, Alder Biopharmaceuticals, EndoGastric Solutions, EKOS, Qpass, Ikaria, Free & Clear, Sabrix, Zonar Systems, and Zumobi. Ms. Erickson received her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law.
