Jennifer Baird is the founder at CEO of Fifth Eye, a medical device startup in Ann Arbor, MI. Previously, she served as the CEO of Accio Energy, an early-stage company that uses silent, stationary panels and charged mist instead of typical wind turbines to expand the use of renewable energy. From 2005 to 2010, Baird was president and CEO of Accuri Cytometers, a rapidly growing company developing and marketing breakthrough life science research products for research and clinical use. Ms. Baird co-founded Accuri and led the company from inception through development and commercialization. (In 2011, Accuri was sold to Becton Dickinson for $205 million.)
She received her MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BA degree from the University of Michigan. She also currently serves on the board of directors for Hope Clinic, an interdenominational Christian organization that provides free medical, dental, and other services to the uninsured in southeast Michigan and is CEO of Sonetics
Ultrasound, Inc., an early-stage medical diagnostic ultrasound company she co-founded.
